Military Appreciation Discount
Rip Roaring Adventures thanks all active duty and retired military personnel for their service to our great nation by passing along an additional $2.00 discount on all our river trips.  Please mention your military status when reserving your trip and present your military ID when checking in.

Special group rates on the upper white water rafting trip for 10 or more people -- $24.95 plus taxes per person.  Coupon does not apply.

Reservations

Reservations are recommended to ensure your space on the whitewater rafting trip of your choice. Walk ins are welcome but space is limited. We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. A fee of $15.00 per person will be charged for white water rafting trips cancelled within the 24 hour period. No cancellations the day of the trip.

What to wear

Wear shorts and shirt or bathing suit in the summer. For the spring and the fall we recommend layering with synthetics such as fleece or polypropylene. Secure footwear is required. Tennis shoes, water shoes, sandals with strap around heel will be fine. No flip flops.
Bring towels, change of clothes, shoes and bring a smile. You will get wet! 

What if it rains

Our trips go rain or shine.  You will get wet anyway.

What if I can't swim

Many rafters can't swim.  Our guest are required to wear a Coast Guard approved vest.  We supply vest and all equipment.

What are guaranteed days on the Pigeon River
The Pigeon River is a dammed controlled river.  The release days for May are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  The release days for June through Labor Day are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.  On those days we have whitewater rafting.

Safety/Liability
Our goal is to provide the safest and most enjoyable trip possible. We provide safety instruction before and during each trip, but it is your responsibility to follow these instructions. Naturally, white water involves some elements of risk. Rip Roaring Adventures does not assume liability for personal injuries. All quest must sign a liability waiver prior to each trip. Consumption of alcohol or drugs is not permitted and anyone impaired by such will be excluded without refund.


The Big Pigeon River is a dammed controlled river. We have water release days for the month of May - Tues., Wed., and Thursday. We have guaranteed water release days from June - through the Saturday before Labor Day on Tues., Wed., Thursday and Saturdays. For the months of March, April, Sept. and Oct. we have no guaranteed water release days. We check to see if the water is released day to day. Anybody who would want to go whitewater rafting in March, April, Sept., or October would need to call around 10:00am on the day they would like to do whitewater rafting to see if we are having a whitewater rafting trip that day. We want you to know what’s up. We do not want to cause you any inconvenience. Hope this helps in planning your trip.
